Instead, he needs a critical “bridge to transplant” a high-risk, high-reward intervention that requires him to be moved far from home, to a hospital equipped for his complex condition.
For his family, the process is more than medical. It’s deeply emotional and financially draining. Between long hospital stays, constant travel, and the struggle to keep up with daily life, they face decisions few of us can fully imagine.
